Fetch Some Fun: Humane Indiana’s Paws in the Park Returns This Weekend!
Humane Indiana is hosting its 33rd annual Paws in the Park festival this Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Community Park in Munster to raise vital funds for their regional animal rescue efforts.
While they serve all of Northwest Indiana, the nonprofit maintains a strong footprint right here in town by operating the PAWS Resale & Consignment shop located at 8149 Kennedy Avenue in Highland, which helps fund crucial community resources like their free pet food pantry.
Highland residents are encouraged to bring their leashed, well-behaved dogs out to the park to enjoy the 1-mile. Go here for more information about the Paws in the Park event.
