🏐 Champs and Runners-Up: HMS Volleyball Shines at Conference
Highland’s future Lady Trojans are already bringing home hardware.
Highland Middle School’s 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams both reached the championship round at Saturday’s conference tournament. The 7th grade team finished as conference champions, while the 8th grade team earned conference runner-up honors.
That gives HMS two teams finishing among the best in the conference and caps off a strong season for Highland’s younger volleyball players.
The timing is fitting, too, with the Highland High School volleyball team beginning sectional play this week.
Congratulations to the players, coaches and families on a great season!

🎳 Eat, Drink + Play at Diamond Plate
If dinner sounds better with a little competition on the side, Diamond Plate Pub & Eatery at 3150 45th St. has more going on than just food and drinks.
Along with burgers, pizza and shareable appetizers, Diamond Plate has duckpin bowling lanes and TruGolf MultiSport simulators you can reserve for a night out with friends or family.
The simulators go beyond golf, too, with games like hockey, dodgeball, basketball and more, so it works just as well for non-golfers.
If you’re looking for a Highland spot where dinner can turn into game night, this one gives you both under the same roof.
