🏈 Titans Take Over the APF for Football Night in the Region
Highland Pop Warner’s Titans football and cheer teams are taking over the Athletic Performance Factory for Football Night in the Region on Friday, Oct. 9, from 6:30 to 11 p.m.
The event takes place at Diamond Plate Eatery inside the APF, 3150 45th St., where the Titans will be featured on Region Sports Network. Players, coaches, and league representatives are scheduled for live interviews during halftime.
Players and families can also enjoy free duckpin bowling and sports simulators, with food and refreshments available for purchase.
The event gives Highland’s young athletes a chance to experience the excitement of live sports television while representing their hometown and celebrating the league’s impact in the community.

Silver Is Up 402% Since 2020. Gold, 186%

Silver has more than doubled gold's return since March 2020, even after a 53% correction from its January peak.
Our research team sees a familiar pattern. Silver's returns more than doubled gold's from 1974 to 1987. After the financial crisis, silver beat gold five-fold in three years.
The reason is size. In 2025, investors put about $15.6 billion into physical silver and silver ETFs, against $111.2 billion for gold. Small inflows move silver hard.
Silver is also in its sixth straight annual supply deficit. The Ultimate Silver Playbook explains what the team expects next. It's free.

Highland’s 2027 Budget Goes to a Final Vote Oct. 12
The Highland Town Council is set to adopt the town’s 2027 budgets at its Monday, Oct. 12, meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 3333 Ridge Road.
Three budgets are up for a final vote: the civil town, Sanitary District, and Waterworks District. No one objected during the Sept. 28 public hearings, though one resident asked where the budget figures could be found. Those numbers are posted on the state’s Indiana Gateway website.
At this stage, the council can reduce the proposed budgets but cannot increase them.
The town’s Comprehensive Master Plan is also expected to come up for a vote that same night.
